Our Story

I am Alexis Bailey, the main pooper scooper at Better 2B Naked Cattery. Since I could crawl, I have always had a special connection with animals. I've had every animal imaginable - horses, pigs, dogs, cats, bunnies, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, and possums! However, cats have always had a special place in my heart.
I had grown up all my life with Persians, and when my last persian passed at 16, I was determined to find the perfect cat to fill my house in his absence. A few months later, I brought home my first Sphynx and instantly fell in love with every aspect of the breed.
As I became more active in the Sphynx community, it became apparent that there were not enough people focused on the health and betterment of the breed. I saw more and more heartbreaking stories of people losing their beloved cats at a young age due to poor genetics and health problems. Inspired to change this, I started Better 2B Naked Cattery with the focus of improving and preserving the health, temperament, and history of the Sphynx breed.

Behind The Cats: About

Our Pets

Snitch

Great Dane

Snitch joined our family in April of 2020, and quickly realized being a cat was way cooler than being a dog! He spends most of his day laying in the kitten room supervising babies and sacrificing himself as a kitten playground. When he does decide he needs a break, you can find him on the couch kneeding a blanket, just like the cats taught him!

Karma

Cane Corso

Karma joined our family in March 2022. She's learning her role in being a great big sister to her feline family. She gets so excited once the kittens hit about 8-10 weeks old and officially start playing with her! She helps insure our kittens are socialized and ready for any playful pups their new homes!

AHT

American Hairless Terrier

We will be adding this sweet girl to our home in September 2023, and can't be more excited! During our off time, we plan on competing in Confirmation, Agility, and Fast Cat!

Rottie

Rottweiler

Rottie was our rescued Rottweiler who came to us after years of being used as a breeding dog in a puppy mill. After being a mother herself for so long, she deemed herself the official house nurse-maid and watched over the kittens from the time they are born.
We lost our Rottie girl at the end of 2021,..
